Think about the customers you don’t want to work with as well. Understand the characteristics that represent that customer - then think about the opposite characteristics that you do want to attract.

Elements of further defining your customer persona

  1. Triggers - specific events that occur to that customer that drives them to seek you / your type of business out

  2. Pain points - the things that they need a solution for (often a frustration or fear)

  3. Decision Drivers - what drives their decision

  4. Barriers to purchase - what are the main objections to sale
